Performing Artist Engagement

SHAPE courses will incorporate performing artists’ work as a meaningful part of the curriculum and the attainment of educational objectives. Mondavi Center staff will work with each teaching team to plan the customized artist residency integrated into their course.

The most common format of artist residency is a contiguous stay from 3-7 days which includes their performance at the Mondavi Center. Another format is multiple visits during the course. This works best for West Coast artists.
